Tips on caring for batik

To maintain and care for your batik to keep it beautiful, there are some tips worth trying.

     * Avoid washing batik using washing machines and detergents. Wash by hand using a shampoo that has
        been dissolved in water or soap.
     * Drying in the shade without squeezed first. Avoid drying in direct sunlight and let it dry naturally.
     * Cover with a cloth batik other if they are to be ironed. Avoid direct exposure to heat from the iron.
     * Avoid spraying perfume clothes, perfume or fabric softener directly into the batik.
